The abstract work of mid-20th Century artist Francisco Moncion, is a highlight of our collection. Moncion, a renowned classical ballet  dancer, was a charter member of the New York City Ballet. George Balanchine, NYCB founder and director created 22 roles on Moncion including his iconic The Prodigal Son. During the 1950's and 1960's Moncion's work was exhibited internationally and in New York alongside Picasso, Miro, Dali and Italian artist Corrado Cagli.
