Vintage 1972 Olympic Poster - Munich games by artist Paul Wunderlich (1927-2010) printed in Germany in 1970. 39.75 x 25.25 inches in excellent condition. This is a rare iconic 2nd edition lithograph/silk screen poster on heavy stock with embossed leaves. Plate was signed by the artist and the printer’s name is included in the credits: Edition Olympia 1972 GmbH 1971 Mattheiu A G Zurich. (First editions were limited to 200, each numbered and signed. Second editions were limited to 4,000 lithographs and silkscreens with printer mentioned in imprint. Third editions had unknown copies without printer acknowledgement.) This is a vintage 1970 lithograph, not a Kennedy Graphics reproduction. Poster will be rolled and shipped in a tube.
